Heart of Darkness

Ken-Senpai entered the forest, alone, but competent. He hadn't even heard any rumors about anything bad hiding in here aside from the typical wild pokemon. But he sensed something in there was serious trouble and he had to put an end to it.

He looked around as the lights suddenly disappeared. This was highly unusual here. Typically there was small torches planted in the forest of constant night, but they were simply gone. He didn't care. He didn't need his eyes as his senses revealed what things truly were on the inside anyway.

Ken sensed Lilian and ran through the forest, quick stepping from side to side to dodge the trees. He slowed down, when he saw Lilian, and asked. "Are you lost?. This place is dangerous for a Psychic Fairy." He sensed several bad things in the area, and got tense preparing his body for a fight. When he entered Lilian's light, he let off several sparkles as a result from his shine.

"I remember a Gallade, but honestly I don't think I ever asked for his name. How rude of me" He scratched his head, a little embarrassed that he forgot to even do that. His face grew serious, and he held Lilian's ears tight and made a horrible metal screech. (metal sound). And then fired a Aura Sphere into the darkness, making something in there go "ARGH!" followed by a thump, and what sounded like a tree or something breaking.

Ken smiled. "Well, you squished that little fella behind you just fine friend." He walked up to Kenpachi-Sama and offered a handshake. "What are you doing out here?" He scratched his nose a bit, and gave the area another aurora scan.

Ken thought it was nice to hear that she liked Strike so much as to get angry with even the suggestion that she would be with anyone else. He fired a Aura Sphere at the Weavile, sending it flying backwards. It wasn't knocked out that easily, but it's good to get them at a distance from Lilian. "I will shield her, you go knock that jerk out"

"We can roam in this impossibly dark forest and risk our lives after we escort this young lady out first. Think about it like this, you wouldn't have to be careful then." Ken suggested, hoping that it would make the thought of not going nuts in the forest until after Lilian was safe more attractive.

Ken shielded his eyes for a second before closing them entirely. "I can sense the entire area's aurora. Even the trees and leaves' aurora. So I can see just fine actually, it's bright as day for me." Ken actually sighed at himself for trailing off. "Are you good at any kind of healing?, or maybe you have an attack that packs a particularly big punch?, preferably not a psychic one." He asked to actually not fall into the "We are badasses and we don't care about handicaps" mentality he would end up getting whenever near other warriors.

"Alright then. I would say we head east. I sense a strong dark type in that direction" Ken suggested, feeling if they were three, he might as well fight something a little tougher.

Ken shivered a bit. He wasn't used to being yelled at, at all. "Well, we mind as well. A brutish dark type could cause a lot of havoc for the locals. Teaching him that people from the town aren't to be messed with is a way to make it safer for everyone." Ken explained, trying to make his intentions a bit more obvious than "I want to go beat up them for lolz"

Ken sighed at Kenpachi's mocking comment on Lilian. "Hey, fairies are no joke."
When they saw the Zweilous Ken got a smile. "Great!. Kirlia, do you have any Fairy moves by any chance?" He asked, knowing how effective they are. (but is going to be disappointed in the answer xD)

He cracked his knuckles and entered a boxer's stance. "Be careful. These pokemon are tough. We are lucky that there is three of us."

When Ken heard that she had Misty Terrain, he smiled. "Perfect!" He patted Lilian on the back, and entered a kamehameha ish pose, charging up a strong Aura Sphere before firing it into both of their heads as Kenpachi knocked them together, and thus sending their heads, smacking right into their back. They weren't feeling too good, and would most likely get their game on now.

Ken fired a strong Aura Sphere at it, and jumped over to Lilian. "Tell me, what moves do you have?" He asked curiously as some moves could easily help out the battle. Of course the writer could metagame and look it up on the site. But that wouldn't be sporty.

Ken smiled. "I'll move him over here. Then you can use flash!" He jumped over to the Zweilous, and kicked it in the face, before grabbing it's head and closing his eyes, forcing it's head towards Lilian "Use Flash before it fires something nasty at you!" The real reason he did this was to make Lilian feel better honestly. xD

Ken and Kenpachi basically started beating this poor dragon up. The Zweilous didn't stand a chance. Still though, it could have easily have injured either of them. But it was an unfair fight, but a fun one none the less. After beating up the dragon, Ken stretched and yawned. "Well. We have improved in our skills it seems." Ken commented, knowing that it didn't use to be that easy.

"I came here to get some training as well. But I won't keep Lilian here if she has other buisness to attend to." He responded, to Kenpachi and looked around a bit. "We can always go back here if needed"

Ken looked at Kenpachi walking aimlessly, and sighed. "Um, sorry Kenpachi, but that's the wrong way." He said, and pointed in the opposite direction to where Kenpachi was going. Ken knew that he probably seemed insane to a lot of pokemon, but he didn't mind.

Ken nodded and walked towards the exit of the forest. He did hear some rustling, but decided not to engage until after they were out.

Ken held Kenpachi by his shoulder briefly to make sure he didn't wander off somewhere. He closed his eyes and tried to search for a unnaturally strong aurora which is a bit hard as the forest makes the aurora sensing three times as difficult. Luckily it at least isn't the Maze where the senses are completely shut off.

Ken shrugged. "I will try to avoid doing it in the future Kenpachi." Ken said before crossing his arms at the eyes. He closed his eyes briefly to read it's aurora.

Ken got out of the Rhyhorn's way and looked at the Sableyes. He growled "Damn it. We can barely touch these guys. Kenpachi, whatever you do don't use earth quake. Your fighting moves will be canceled out if you try to hit them." Ken bullet punched one of them between their eyes and sent then face first into a wall before they got up again.

Ken nodded and did his best to attract attention...His technique of waving at them didn't work out so well, causing him to be beaten up a little bit by his opponents. He closed his eyes to think of the best possible way that he knew to distract enemies...He remembered something and sighed in disgust before using it. He put both of his "thumbs" on his head whistled to get their attention, and and stuck his tongue out making before going Sissies afraid of fighting me all at once!~" In the most annoying, cocky, snobby tone he could manage. Sure enough the others looked at him like "Oh, you didn't just call me that" and moved over to Ken in a nice big group. He waited for a sign before jumping away with the speed of a bullet. (when Kenpachi says "aye" for ze attack)

Ken proceeded to bounce Dodgeball around after the Sabeyes. Knocking him back and forth with gentle throws.
