Flare nodded slowly, taking a step back. She didn't know what was worse - the staring, or the... Larrying. "O... Kay...? Well, we need to get out of here now. Come on Snowflake." she said, walking forward a couple of steps, before pausing and waiting for Snowflake to follow. Something had come over her friend and she was determined to fix it.

"But, but, but we just got here!" Snowflake whined, feeling the adventure was cut short for an "arbitrary" reason. "Why are we leaving so soon?. Did you get hurt back there?, are you okay?" Snowflake asked, concerned for her friend.

Flare frowned. Didn't she feel weird? "Uh... No, I'm fine, but I'm more worried about you." she said, eyeing the rock which Snowflake was clutching so hard that her paws were turning white. It had now taken on a more teal, clouded shade, which confused Flare a little. She didn't know what it was, and it had changed her friend. That scared her.

"Don't look at Larry that way. He is just shy." Snowflake proclaimed and motioned over to the giant whole in the hallway. "Besides, how are we supposed to get across from there?. The only way is to continue to go deeper into this dungeon!" Snowflake exclaimed with excitement, still enjoying the adventure as she was oblivious to the fact that a tiny rock might have poisoned her mind. She started walking further into the dungeon, on occasion she looked like she listened to something the rock said. They came across a big door with golden decorations and a big skull of some sort of ancient pokemon placed on the very top of the door frame. "Oooo~"

Flare nodded begrudgingly. "I guess..." she said softly before letting Snowflake lead the way so that she could ponder their current predicament in peace. She obviously didn't want to leave the dungeon, but... That Larry. Flare didn't know if it would get worse or better, so she didn't really want to risk whatever was happening just in case it did indeed go downhill. As they descended deeper within the bowels of the dungeon, Snowflake began to talk more and more to the rock, almost forgetting that Flare was there. Sighing, the vulpix was so lost in her thoughts that she almost walked right into Snow before realising she stopped in front of a giant door. "Do we go in?" she asked, tilting her head as she eyed the skull glaring down at them.

Snowflake rubbed her chin with one paw, the other one holding Larry. "I don't see a door handle. Maybe we should just bash it in?" She proposed before a voice spoke. "DON'T YOU EVEN THINK ABOUT IT!" The skull spoke!. It glared the best it could, as it was a skull and didn't have eyes. "Before you two can enter, answer these three questions. First question. What are you two doing here?" Snowflake snarled a bit. "Excuse me, please don't ignore Larry" Which the skull almost looked like it would roll it's eyes at. It seemed to know what was up with the stone.

Flare was mid-leap before the skull shocked the living daylights out of her, causing her to flop to the ground with a gasp. "Owww..." she groaned, rolling over and rubbing her stomach in pain before sitting up with a wince. She stood up slowly, just as the skull began to speak again. Of course, Snowflake was adamant about Larry, but Flare just laughed. "We're here to explore. What else would we be doing? I mean, it's not like this is the dandiest place for a walk, know what I mean."

"True" The skull responded as it was a reasonable answer all things considering. "You know, I should ask this even if it's not part of the three. You two seem like reasonable pokemon unlike some of the jerks I see. What are you doing with the cursed stone?" The skull asked as he was curious who was stupid enough to pick it up. "Hey!, don't talk about Larry that way!, you will hurt his feelings" Snowflake responded, really offended by the skull's comment, and holding Larry like someone would hold a baby that's crying. "Didn't you read the warning signs?" The skull asked, not understanding why anyone would pick it up. "What warning signs?, are you making fun of Larry's personality now!?. You big bully." Snowflake was clearly not listening, but the skull hoped that Flare was at least xD

Flare smiled, imagining the skull shrugging and nodding even though it didn't really have a body. Flare looked at the stone when the skull mentioned it, noticing that it was beginning to turn a little bit red. Alarmed, she looked at the skull before shuffling closer to the door and craning her head up as far as she could reach. While Snowflake was distracted consoling Larry, she leaned in and began to whisper to the skull. "Iunno man. I mean, she seems to be pretty into it. She thought it was pretty and grabbed it real quick and she's been like this ever since." she paused, gesturing to the glaceon which was now cradling Larry to her cheek. "You know how to snap her out of it?" she asked, her features pleading.

"Well, you need to take it from her. As long as someone is holding the stone, it will become their dearest friend no matter what. The curse will go away from the holder if you take it from her, but you might get it instead if your not careful" The skull whispered dand motioned the best it could (which admittedly was rather rubbish) to Snowflake cradling the stone. All Snowflake seemed to care about at this point was the stone. One would think that carrying around a stone would get old. But Snowflake enjoyed every second of it, and the stone seemed pleased and glew both troubling colors, and more fancy and pretty ones.

Flare swallowed, eyeing both the stone and the pokemon hugging it like it was the best and most greatest thing in the entire pokeverse. Making up her mind, she crept up silently behind Snowflake, taking a silent and deep breath before pouncing on her friend. "Ya!" she exclaimed, tackling her to the floor before trying desperately to get the stone from her paws. "Come... On! Let... Go!" she yelled between strains or trying to wrench the cursed thing from Snowflake's iron-like grip.

Snowflake growled in response, looking like she was ready to KILL Flare for touching Larry. Then when her grip slipped, she just stood there, looking like she didn't know how she got there. The stone was now in Flare's paws, and the skull let out another sigh. "Ooo!~. You got the stone!" Snowflake praised, being glad that her friend got a treasure.

Flare let out a cry of glee, having gotten the stone from her friend and finding she was back to normal. She glanced at the thing in her paws, before suddenly feeling her eyes haze over a bit. Woah... Suddenly, she felt a little bit woozy. What the butt is going on? she wondered, kind of feeling a little high. The colours around her were kind of a bit flashy, and she was a little confused until she suddenly had an epiphany. The stone! letting out a yelp, she quickly tossed the stone away, watching it clatter down the hallway into darkness. Suddenly, she was back in reality, and breathed a sigh of relief.

Snowflake rolled onto her back and had a giggle fit. "I'm sure your reflection isn't that bad Flare. What happened?" She asked curious as to why Flare tossed the priceless stone away as if it was a spider on someone's shoulder. The skull looked like it shrugged. "Well, at least you seem to have resisted the brainwashing. And you Snowflake, are surprisingly quick to recover from the curse." Snowflake shrugged. "A cursed stone?. That's so cool!" Snowflake exclaimed.

Flare just flopped onto her back. "My god Snowflake." she groaned, rolling about and flailing her arms wildly. "I can't believe you sometimes!" she exclaimed, sitting up and just shaking her head. "You... Stone... I... UGH!" she cried, flopping back onto the floor in defeat, hiding her face in her paws.

Snowflake's ears lowered. "Aw, I'm sorry..." She said, and gave Flare the puppy eyes.

Flare peeked through her paws at her friend, who was using all the charm she was blessed with and making an adorable puppy dog face. "Oh no. Don't look at me like that." she said, her resolve already weakening. she pulled her paws away from her face only to be blasted full strength by the cute. Sighing, Flare began to act really really apathetic. "Fine. I guess." she said, turning away from Snowflake. A couple of seconds later, she pounced onto her friend with a giant smile on her face. "Just kidding! You know I can't be mad at you for long. Besides, I'm a sucker for puppy-dog faces."

Snowflake hugged Flare tightly and rolled around on the ground giggling. The skull cleared it's throat and opened the door. "You know what, forget the questions, you two can go" The skull said, having deemed the two worthy to enter the deeper parts of the maze. Snowflake broke from the loving embrace, and bounced over to the door. "Yay!, I hope we will find something sweeeeet~!" She said, still thinking about possible treasures despite what happened just a few seconds ago.

Flare gasped, being held in an extremely tight embrace. She began to turn a weird tint, and flailed wildly. "Can't... breathe..." she gasped, until she heard the door open and the hugging paws release her. Sitting up quickly, the vulpix breathed heavily, savoring the sweet sweet taste of air in her mouth. She heard Snowflake vanish around the corner, and stood up quickly before bounding after her. "Hey! Wait up!" she called, the sound echoing in the empty halls.

Snowflake looked around the room with her jaw dropped. It was a room covered in mirrors!. "Ooooo~!" Snowflake exclaimed and instantly went to make funny faces at a mirror. "Check this out Flare!, isn't it cool?" She asked, having tons of fun looking into the mirrors . Some of which distorted her appearance.

Flare bounded up after her, spinning in a circle. "Wahhhh!" she yelled with glee, eyeing herself in the mirror before bursting out into giggles. Before long, Flare ran up to a particularly funny mirror, before turning around and realising she was in a dead end. "What is this? A maze?" she asked, looking around before she froze as a look of realisation dawned on her. "Ohhhhhhhhh....."

Snowflake looked around. Before realizing that the door they came in was gone. "Oh crud!, the door is gone!." They were now stuck in a maze where all the walls were mirrors that slowly shifted forms as they walked. "At least this is interesting"Snowflake commented, feeling a bit entertained by the change of scenery. "I don't understand how this room is lit. I mean, there is not lights. It's like the mirrors themselves project it." Snowflake mentioned, noticing the strange lack of darkness.

Flare frowned, also baffled by this new development. "Huh. Weird." she said, peering directly into a mirror, scrutinising it closely. That's odd. she thought, noticing that the mirror didn't look quite right. It wasn't... Shining correctly. Confused, she reached out a paw to poke it, only for her paw to go right through. Squeaking in surprise, she jumped back and onto Snowflake, peering at it form above Snowflake's head.

Snowflake was deep in her own thoughts until she suddenly had a Vulpix wrapped around her head like a turban. She looked back, and saw nothing special. "What's wrong hot buddy?" She asked not quite sure why her head became the new preferred seat for this adorable little Vulpix.

Suddenly feeling awkward, Flare quickly climbed off, flushing a little. "Woops. Sorry." she said awkwardly, before eyeing the mirror and approaching it. "That's what's wrong!" she said, poking it again, watching the surface ripple hypnotically... Until something began to pull her from the other side. Gasping in surprise and terror, she shot through into an inky blackness.

"HELP!"
