Personality: Flare is pretty happy-go-lucky. She can barely sit still for more than a minute before she begins to fidget, and finds it hard to concentrate on anything. She adores friends, and will stick up for them even if it involves herself getting into danger. Often times this does more harm then good, but that doesn't mean she won't do it the next time anyway. She's a little rash and tends to act first, think of the consequences later. She normally spends her time being active and climbing trees, or just going to high places, because she likes being above the world and just enjoying the view. Flare is like a brick wall when it comes to flirting, and is so thick she doesn't even recognise the most obvious of hints.
History:
Flare was not originally a wild pokemon, a lone wanderer as it were. She was part of a family of pokemon, all from different backgrounds yet a very tight knit clan. Because of this, she was surrounded by different pokemon from her birth, making her feel like a bit of a stand out. She was, however, extremely close to one friendly little Azurill, and that kind of balanced out the way she never fit in with the other pokemon.
One day, she was out wandering with her favourite member of the family when they heard a sound in the bushes. Suddenly, a wild and vicious Mankey leaped out from the bushes, shocking the both of them out of their skin. Immediately, Flare crouched low and glared, growling. The Mankey didn't take the hint, and tried to jump over her to get to Azurill which let out a shriek of terror. Terrified her only friend was going to get hurt, Vulpix let out a whirl of flame so large for her tiny frame that it knocked her out.
When she woke up, she was confused, alone in the forest and sore all over, embers dusting the ground around her. She sat there, waiting for days for someone, anyone, to come back for her, but no-one ever did. Realising no-one was going to come for her, Flare got up with a broken and heavy heart, thinking she must've done something worth the ultimate punishment and left.
Eventually, she stumbled upon the Molten Mountain, where she decided to rest for a while before she moves on to find a permanent home.
